A Little Background Information On Me :)

Hello I am Nicole Banchs. I am currently attending the Magnet School of Business and Technology at United South High School, ranking #1-top of my class with the highest GPA. A Junior, I am a 16-year old lady with a passion for acting, singing and music. I've been participating in UIL One Act since the 6th grade and has won First Place as a team, as well as All Star Cast as an individual. 

United Souths High School Production of Arsenic and Old Lace won 1st place

I've had the opportunity to portray the "White Rabbit" in the Musical "Shrek" in 2015 by the Laredo Theater Guild International.

 Besides acting, and singing, I also have a passion for sports and have been involved in track, and am a member of the USHS Cross Country team. 

Nicole win's 1st place in the category female 14-19 (5k time 22min 20sec)

Throughout the years I've volunteered at school in Yearbook, Student Council, One Act, UIL and many other extracurricular activities. 

I am a God fearing young lady, and am a current member of the Frontline Worship Team (local Christian band), volunteering my time to sing and worship on Sundays at United Baptist Church. Not only am I dedicated and very involved in school activities, I also volunteered to help out in the community such as in autism events, and Vacation Bible School . As part of my plan to prepare for my future career I am attending TAMIU Gear Up program, and am also a participant of the Laredo Chamber's Youth Leadership Program.

I am a very talented young woman that loves to read books in my spare time, create things doing DIYs, and watch movies at home - if you guessed that my favorite movies are musicals you guessed right!

My dream is to attend Julliard School in New York and become a professional actress, to perform in Broadway, and to become an entrepreneur by opening my own studio to teach and direct others in acting.
